There was a time when all I wanted was some time to myself where I could relax without the guilt that is a constant and familiar companion to parents. But now that I have that and more I've realised that nothing is so easy. I miss that easy companionship, the careless hugs and the absentminded smiles that used to come my way. I cannot relive those times but I am thankful for the memories.
